A scan is only useful if it lands in your software. Every capture is delivered in formats that import directly into Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, SketchUp, and Procore — no conversion homework on your side.
We’ll also tell you when you don’t need the expensive option: Matterport-grade capture covers most documentation and coordination work, and we reserve BLK360 LiDAR for measurement-critical scopes like renovation drawing sets and MEP coordination.

What’s the difference between Matterport and LiDAR laser scanning?
Matterport Pro3 produces an immersive, shareable digital twin with LiDAR depth data — ideal for documentation, coordination, and stakeholder walkthroughs. For measurement-critical work (renovation drawings, MEP coordination, LOD 300 modeling) we capture with the Leica BLK360 and deliver registered point clouds. We’ll recommend the right method for your tolerance requirements — and tell you honestly when the cheaper option is enough.
What file formats do you deliver?
Point clouds in E57 or RCP, BIM models in RVT or IFC, CAD drawings in DWG or DXF, plus 2D floor plans (PDF/CAD) and the cloud-hosted 3D tour link. Files import directly into Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, SketchUp, and Procore workflows.
How fast is delivery?
The hosted 3D tour and point cloud are delivered within 48 hours of capture. Scan-to-BIM modeling timelines depend on building size and LOD — typically 5 to 15 business days, scoped before we book.
What does AEC reality capture cost in Austin?

Can you scan active construction sites?
Yes. We carry $1,000,000 commercial liability coverage, provide a COI on request, and our drone pilots are FAA Part 107 certified with LAANC authorization for Austin’s Class C airspace. Recurring progress-scan schedules can be aligned to your pour, rough-in, and close-up milestones.
Do you support recurring progress documentation?
Yes — weekly, biweekly, or milestone-based capture with consistent scan positions, so superintendents and owners can compare conditions over time and verify in-wall work before close-up.
